💡 How to Practice
- Voice Leading: Since the modulation moves around the Circle of Fifths, adjacent key centers share 6 of their 7 notes. Focus on shifts of a single semitone when keys modulate!
- Chord Arpeggios: Learn the chord tones for each key progression (e.g. 1-b3-5-b7-9 for minor 9th) to easily outline the harmony.
- Scale Choices: Play Dorian over the minor 9th, Mixolydian over the dominant 13th, and Lydian/Ionian over the major 9th.
